Description
Moko Oval Earring.
Tā moko is the permanent marking of the face and body. It is distinct from tattooing, in that the skin is carved by uhi (chisels), not punctured. This leaves the skin with grooves rather than a smooth surface. Tā moko was like a history of a person’s achievements and represented their status in their tribe.
Ranges from Acrylic tint (3mm) & satin (3mm), metallic, mirror and wood.
Design on hooks unless stated in design order
