Description
Moko cuff range match this design with our Moko earring range: Moko Flower(s), Moko Oval and our new Moko hoop & Moon designs
Tā moko is the permanent marking of the face and body. It is distinct from tattooing, in that the skin is carved by uhi (chisels), not punctured. This leaves the skin with grooves rather than a smooth surface. Tā moko was like a history of a person’s achievements and represented their status in their tribe.
Note: width sizes are slightly variable generally at 7cm width and can be slightly flexible so please stipulate in the notes/comments on your order if you require a larger or smaller fit to this.
